Hello, my name is Kelly and I listen to your podcast at work as often as I can. Meg, you have posted a gorgeous colorway with your shawl. I found the pattern but I couldn’t locate or hear exactly what the yarn is made of, or the wgt of it. If you could remember and possibly let me know I would appreciate it. Also, is this a good beginner pattern?
Thank you and great job on the podcast.

Hi Kelly! The yarns in this shawl are fingering weight from Teeny Button Studio, from their 2022 Anastasia Collection. The yellow is “Once Upon a December” and the blue is “Anya.” I think this would be an easy enough pattern for beginners. It’s mostly yarn overs, increases and decreases, so if you are comfortable with those then I’d say you’d be good to go!
