Construction Workers???
If you have ever sat down at Ravelry to try and find a sweater pattern, you know the drill. Thousands upon thousands of sweater patterns, each in different weights, different sleeves, different necklines… and different construction. How do you choose? Which do you prefer? What determines a pleasant sweater knitting experience… over one that leaves you crying with the WIP shoved into your least-favorite project bag and stuffed deep under the layers of your stash?
This week, the cast talks about the different types of sweater construction and what we like and don’t like about them. We talk about the advantages and disadvantages of each type – top down, bottom up, pieced, seamless, raglan, the list goes on! – and our personal experiences knitting each. Remember: these are the personal opinions of each of the cast members! They in no way reflect the quality or merit of knitting any of these types of sweaters, and should in no way influence your decision to knit exactly what you want.
